Terms of Service
The terms for using AdvisoryOS and, when available, subscribing to the software.
1. Supplier and scope
Mickael's Bakehouse Ltd, company number 08624156, 10 College Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 1BE, United Kingdom. VAT registration: GB249272780. Support and complaints: mj@mickaels-bakehouse.com.
These terms cover our software licence and support. For purchases made through Paddle, the merchant of record identified at checkout handles the sale, billing and applicable transaction taxes under its Buyer Terms. Mandatory legal rights take priority. These terms do not override Paddle’s transaction terms.
2. Software and licence
AdvisoryOS is downloadable business management and decision-support software for consultants and entrepreneurs. A subscription licenses one named user for one business on their compatible devices, with software updates and standard email support while subscribed. You may make reasonable backup copies. You retain ownership of your records and documents.
You must not resell or distribute the software, share paid credentials or bypass licensing controls, except where the law permits. The software’s intellectual property remains with its rights holder.
3. Free 10-day evaluation
The pilot evaluation lasts 10 consecutive calendar days from first activation. It requires no payment card and does not convert automatically to a paid subscription. A separate purchase will be needed for paid use. An existing pilot workspace may retain its original start date.
The pilot is pre-release software. Expiry and recovery checks are still being completed. Export a backup before the evaluation ends; do not rely on unverified access or recovery behaviour.
4. Monthly price and renewal
The advertised price is £14.95 per month excluding VAT. Where UK VAT at 20% applies, the total is £17.94 per month. The checkout will show your currency, applicable taxes, full recurring price and billing schedule before you pay. Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled, with no minimum term beyond the current paid month.
No optional extras are charged without your agreement. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a subscription price increase, which will not change an already-paid period. You can cancel before the increase applies. Paid sales will open only after checkout and activation are operational.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Once paid subscriptions are available, cancel future renewals using the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle buyer support. You may also email mj@mickaels-bakehouse.com for help. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period and stops further renewal payments. We will not require a reason to cancel.
We offer a full refund of your first subscription payment if you request it within 14 calendar days of that payment, even if you have downloaded or used the software. See our Refund Policy. Applicable statutory cancellation, renewal and faulty-product rights remain available. Those rights may exceed this offer.
Paid editing rights end when the paid licence ends, or when a refunded licence is terminated. Export your records beforehand. The paid activation system and post-expiry data-access behaviour are not yet released; we will explain their tested operation before accepting payment.
6. Local storage and backups
Your workspace is stored in your browser on your device, with encrypted vault functionality. Downloading the HTML file does not back up your records. Export backups regularly, keep them separately and verify that you can restore them. Protect your passphrase and device. Browser clearing, storage limits, a different browser profile or device failure can affect your work.
Automatic cloud synchronisation and hosted document storage are not included in the current product. Any future cloud service will have separate confirmed terms, allowances and pricing before purchase. You are responsible for permissions and lawful use of client information you enter.
7. Updates and email support
Updates made available during your active subscription and email support for setup, everyday use and technical issues are included. Updates may require a replacement download; back up before updating.
Contact mj@mickaels-bakehouse.com. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, excluding UK bank holidays. We aim for a first response within one working day. This is a response target, not a guaranteed resolution time. Do not email passphrases or unredacted confidential client files.
8. Decisions, faults and remedies
Forecasts, suggestions and calculations depend on your inputs and require your judgement. Research links open third-party sources; they are not an automatically verified research feed. No particular revenue or business outcome is promised. AdvisoryOS does not replace regulated professional advice.
Report faults promptly so we can investigate and provide the remedies required by law. We will exercise reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes, suspension and withdrawal
We may take proportionate steps to address unlawful use, serious licence breaches or security threats. Where appropriate, we will notify you and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy a breach. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of material adverse changes to paid terms or a planned withdrawal of paid service, unless legal or urgent security reasons prevent that notice. You may cancel before adverse changes take effect. If we withdraw paid service before the end of a paid period without your breach, we will arrange a refund for the unused portion.
10. Privacy, complaints and applicable law
See our Privacy Policy for information we handle. Send complaints to mj@mickaels-bakehouse.com; you can also write to the address above. Paddle handles complaints concerning its payment services through its buyer support.
These software terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in a consumer’s home courts remain unaffected. Availability in a country is subject to supported checkout territories and applicable law. Keep or print a copy of these terms and your order confirmation.
