AdvisoryOS · Updated 21 October 2026

Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you visit this AdvisoryOS page, use the local software or contact support.

1. Who is responsible

Mickael's Bakehouse Ltd, company number 08624156, 10 College Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 1BE, United Kingdom. VAT registration: GB249272780. We are responsible for personal information we handle for our own website enquiries, support and customer administration. Contact mj@mickaels-bakehouse.com or write to our address above about privacy.

This notice concerns AdvisoryOS. Other services and pages on the wider Mickael’s Bakehouse website may have their own notices.

2. Your local workspace

Business records and documents you enter into the current downloadable software are stored in your browser on your device. The current product does not include an automatic cloud workspace or synchronisation service. We do not receive your locally stored client records merely because you download or use this product. If you send material to support, we receive what you send.

You control your workspace, passphrase, backups and device. You are responsible for your lawful basis and notices for other people’s information you put into it. Keep backups separately. Removing browser storage can erase local work; exported backup copies remain wherever you saved them.

3. Information, purposes and lawful bases

Providing contact details is necessary for a reply. Once sales open, the details required at checkout will be needed to process a purchase. Do not send passphrases, full card information or unnecessary confidential client documents.

4. Payment providers and other recipients

Paid checkout is not yet connected. When available, Paddle will act as the merchant of record identified at checkout and handle payment details, transaction taxes, fraud prevention and payment support under its own Privacy Policy. We do not need your full card number to support a purchase.

Relevant information may be handled by our website host, email provider and IT support providers under appropriate arrangements; professional advisers for accounting or disputes; and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information. Opening a research link or another external website is subject to that provider’s privacy practices.

5. Storage periods

We keep enquiries and ordinary support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter and generally no longer than 24 months after the last relevant contact, unless a continuing support need or dispute requires longer. Necessary financial and contract records may be retained for up to six years after the relevant financial year or contract ends, or longer where a legal obligation or live claim requires it. We retain only what is needed and review exceptions.

Technical website logs are retained under the hosting provider’s security and operational schedule. Contact us for the applicable period for a specific request. Local workspace retention is controlled by you and your browser; we cannot erase copies on your device remotely.

6. Cookies and international processing

The supplied AdvisoryOS landing-page code does not add advertising trackers or analytics. The downloaded app uses local browser storage to save the workspace. Hosting, security services and other parts of the wider website may operate separately; applicable cookie information and consent controls must be provided for any non-essential tracking before it is introduced.

Our hosting, email or payment providers may process information outside the UK. Where we are responsible for a restricted transfer, we use the required safeguards, such as a UK adequacy regulation or approved contractual protections. Ask us for information about safeguards for your data. Paddle describes transfers for information it controls in its own privacy notice.

7. Your rights and complaints

Depending on your circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of personal information we hold, request portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use. These rights have legal limits; we may need proportionate identity verification.

Contact mj@mickaels-bakehouse.com. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local supervisory authority. We do not use the information described here for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The service is intended for adult business users.

8. Changes

We will update this notice if our practices change. Before adding cloud storage, new analytics or paid licensing data collection, we will explain the additional processing and provide any required choices. The date above identifies this version.
